My name is Praxis, I come from the year 2636, I work for an agency on Earth that protects the human race from temporal and extraterrestrial threats. I am here to ensure that Earth is capable of protecting itself from the beings of the Tau Ceti system. You see, in 1967 there was a war in the Tau Ceti system between the inhabitants of Tau Ceti 4, and Tau Ceti 3. Tau Ceti 3 was able to take advantage of the unstable geothermal activity in Tau Ceti 4's crust, and destroyed their planet. Unfortunatly, due to the enourmous number of asteroids this created, Tau Ceti 3 had to build a series of Graviton beams to prevent their planet from being destroyed. The fuel for these beams is a substance known as Ununpentium, it is created using a process which requires Americium to be bombarded with Calcium. Unfortunatly in order to create Americium, they need Plutonium, and in the year 2636, the Tau Cetians are at the end of their supply. Back on Earth, we use Ununpentium to fuel our spacecraft. It is for this reason that the Tau Cetians have mounted an attack against us. We believe that they have an insider who has infiltrated Earth's past in 2004, that is why I had to travel back to this time. I first visited using quantum wormholes to transmit my brainwaves into the mind of someone in the year 2004, at which point I was able to construct a tachyon influx generator from which I constructed a timespace variable wormhole. |
